Best of Audi R8

Though we had talked about best of Audi cars in our top Audi cars list, we knew what we said for the R8 isn’t anywhere sufficient for, as without exaggeration, R8 is the best creation of Audi. There would hardly be any luxury cars list or top cars list that does not enlist an R8. Audi R8, the sports version was first and officially revealed in 2006. Shortly later in 2007 came a road version which used the successful sports car name, R8. Its success journey began then and seems to be never-ending. In all sense, it qualifies for an ‘Upper hand Supercar’ title.

With the 2016 World Performance Car awards, Audi R8 became the most successful car in WPC history. This is just one among the numerous achievements that the model has coined. Here, for all the Audi R8 fans, we are putting together the best of Audi R8 models in the lineup!

Audi R8 GT

GT is a limited production model, with just and only 333 models produced globally from 2010 to 2013. One of the outstanding models among the R8s, R8 GT can fly to 62 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds- making it one of the fastest accelerating R8s as well. It is relatively far lightweight, thanks to the lightweight aluminium, carbon fibre components and bucket seats, extra thin glass etc. And well, just look at it closely. We don’t need to explain too much to picture why this R8 has been, without a hitch, a roaring success!

Another important race in this race car’s history is its achievement in the 2012 24 hours of Spa. This rare R8 model was under production and use chiefly between 2012 and 2015.
